Job Summary
Manage day-to-day venue operations, ensuring service standards are maintained and teams are supported. Lead and inspire staff while overseeing opening and closing procedures, stock management, and guest experience delivery. Maintain a calm, effective presence in busy environments across multiple Queensland locations, including Brisbane, Rockhampton, and the Gold Coast. Work a rotating roster covering nights, weekends, and public holidays. This role offers career progression within Australian Venue Co.'s AdVanCe program, providing internal development opportunities for aspiring Duty Managers, Assistant Venue Managers, and Venue Managers.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a relevant role in the hospitality industry
- Strong food and beverage knowledge
- Ability to manage staff, stock, opening and closing procedures
- A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
- Ability to remain calm and effective in a busy environment
- Availability to work a rotating roster including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Strong leadership and communication skills
