Job Summary
Hospitality Management Internship in Food and Beverage at Six Flags Great Adventure. Responsibilities include selling food and beverages at outdoor carts and indoor restaurants, taking and filling orders, multitasking, preparing and assembling food items in a kitchen using fryer/grill/broiler and other equipment, handling and serving various food products including allergen considerations, POS handling, dispensing alcoholic beverages, setting and stocking dining venues, maintaining cleanliness and using cleaning chemicals, working independently or as part of a team, ensuring readiness of team members, facilities, and materials for daily operations, performing opening/closing duties, reporting repairs and maintenance, and upholding health and beverage laws. The program emphasizes gaining knowledge of Back of House and Front of House operations and provides tools to start a career in Hospitality Management.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old by program start date
- Must be professional, outgoing, energetic, self-motivated, and able to motivate others, and have a positive attitude
- Have open availability
- Work a minimum of four days of the week, two being weekend days (Friday-Sunday)
- Work a shift that will at minimum be eight hours
- Be open to Bi-Weekly/End of Program Evaluations
