Job Summary
Hospitality Management Internship - Food and Beverage at Six Flags Great Adventure offering $16/hour. Interns will participate in the Hospitality Management – Food and Beverage Internship Program, gaining exposure to Back of House and Front of House operations, selling food and beverages at outdoor carts and indoor restaurants, taking and filling orders, preparing and assembling food, handling and serving various food products, POS handling, serving alcoholic beverages, setting and stocking venues, inventory maintenance, and cost management while adhering to health and beverage laws. The role requires independent work or teamwork, and emphasizes readiness for daily operation and opportunities to learn across food service and hospitality management domains. Location noted: Old Bridge, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old by program start date
- Professional, outgoing, energetic, self-motivated, and able to motivate others, and have a positive attitude
- Have open availability
- Work a minimum of four days of the week, two being weekend days (Friday-Sunday)
- Work a shift that will at minimum be eight hours
- Willing to work at minimum thirty-two hours a week
- Be open to Bi-Weekly/End of Program Evaluations
