Job Summary
Hospitality Maintenance Technician at Vermejo Reserve: perform diverse on-site maintenance tasks to keep guest spaces impeccably maintained, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, vehicle maintenance, landscaping, water system testing, and housekeeping support. Collaborate with departments to resolve guest-related issues, conduct regular walk-throughs, respond to work orders, maintain rooms and public areas to Vermejo’s high standards, assist with deep-cleaning and seasonal housing, and participate in on-site operations and event support. Requires operating maintenance equipment, adherence to safety protocols, and a flexible 5-day schedule with weekends and rotating on-call shifts. On-site housing provided.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of maintenance or facilities management experience in a hospitality or commercial setting
- Proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs
- Basic carpentry and painting skills
- Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues quickly
- Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment
- Documentation establishing identity and employment authorization within three days of hire per federal law
