Job Summary
Facilities Manager at Convene Hospitality Group overseeing The Mallory venue and NYC market operations. Leads maintenance, repair, and operational readiness of venue systems (plumbing, lighting, HVAC, electrical, elevators, kitchen equipment) and collaborates with vendors/contractors. Maintains maintenance programs, tracks work orders and performance metrics via CMMS, manages budgets, schedules technicians, ensures health and safety/building regulations compliance, and provides on-site operational support during events. Requires 3+ years in facilities management, strong administrative capabilities, knowledge of building systems, leadership experience, and flexibility to support events, with preferred or obtainable Certificate of Fitness/DOHMH certifications. Reports to Senior Manager of Facilities with dotted line to General Manager, role based in NYC venues; travel not specified.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in Facilities Management, technical maintenance, or related fields
- Experience with CMMS tools and work order management
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and building systems
- Leadership and team management experience
- Willingness to support events including nights and weekends
- Certificate of Fitness and Department of Health & Mental Health certification preferred or able to obtain within 60 days of employment
