Job Summary
Oversee the New York City office's hospitality and events operations, managing daily space operations and ensuring an elevated guest experience for clients, visitors, and employees. Lead onsite and off-site events, manage food and beverage needs, cultivate vendor relationships (caterers, beverage partners, rental providers, florists), and supervise conference-center logistics. Coordinate with IT and external services (Epiq) to ensure smooth event technology and delivery, supervise reception staffing, and maintain a high-standard, client-ready environment. Responsible for event budgeting, post-event reconciliation, vendor coordination, space setup quality control, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere across the firm’s NYC location. A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is required, with five years of management in hospitality/event planning and a flexible schedule for events; prior high-end event planning experience is strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years management experience in hospitality or event planning
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with individuals at all levels
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule to account for early morning or evening events
- Prior experience with high-end event planning preferred
