Job Summary
Complete client assessments and advocate for appropriate programs and services while maintaining Warming Center policies and procedures. Respond to client emergencies and notify personnel promptly, then provide ongoing support in conjunction with CCIC/CCMS. Perform light cleaning after each shift to ensure the space is ready for future use. This part-time role offers $18/hour with Saturday and Sunday shifts from 12am-8am or 4pm-12am. Catholic Charities of Onondaga County promotes a low-barrier approach to care for homeless individuals, emphasizing a positive work environment and opportunities for growth.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.
- up to three (3) years relevant experience
- equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Mobility sufficient to drive to and participate in meetings at client's homes and/or community facilities
- Mobility sufficient to work in an office environment
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate office equipment including machines
- Saturday and Sunday, 12am-8am or 4pm-12am
