Job Summary
Greet and interact with guests in the breakfast and lobby areas while setting up, maintaining, and serving the breakfast bar. Prepare designated food items, replenish supplies, and address guest questions or complaints to ensure satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and adhere to hotel policies, safety procedures, and cleaning schedules. Assist with inventory counts and perform other duties as assigned. Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of customer service experience
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with guests, management, and coworkers
- Friendly, positive attitude with strong guest-service skills
- Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical requirements associated with breakfast service and maintaining the breakfast area
- Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
Desired Qualifications
- previous hotel or hospitality experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills
- Knowledge of local activities, attractions, and points of interest appropriate for hotel guests
- Food safety certification
