Job Summary
Seattle-based Hospitality, Travel & Tourism practice associate role at a top-ranked law firm. You will advise clients across the hospitality and travel industry on a broad range of commercial and operational matters, including marketing, distribution, procurement, privacy and data security, and draft/negotiates IT/IS agreements and other commercial contracts. You will collaborate with attorneys and staff to deliver excellent client service, build strong client relationships, and contribute to practice growth. Requires at least 5 years of experience in commercial transactions within lodging or travel sectors, JD from an ABA-accredited law school, and licensure to practice in Washington (or ability to waive in); familiarity with IP, privacy, and data security is a plus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K matching, parental leave, PTO, and holidays. Compensation: $200,000 - $250,000 (DOE).
Required Qualifications
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- License to practice law in Washington (or ability to waive in)
- At least 5 years of experience in commercial transactions, especially in marketing, distribution, and procurement within the lodging or travel sectors
- Familiarity with IP, privacy, and data security is a plus
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills
- Team player with a client-centric approach
