Job Summary
Hospital Hospitality Associate (Temporary Full Time) in Mississauga Hospital providing patient-support services. Responsibilities include ordering and stocking housekeeping supplies, distributing and storing supplies (linen, housekeeping, food), maintaining inventory of equipment on unit (wheelchairs, stretchers), transporting patients to and from departments (e.g., X-Ray) and within the unit, delivering and setting up patient meal trays, distributing patient nourishments, cleaning patient rooms, lounges, offices and common areas, cleaning utility rooms and nurses’ stations, managing waste, coordinating communications with team members and management, and performing related duties. Requires Grade 12 education, ability to read/write, strong communication, physical capability to perform duties, and availability across all shifts including weekends. Competitive hourly wage of $25.599–$29.555 with temporary full-time status up to 12 months.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Grade 12 education and/or equivalent in support services role preferred
- Ability to communicate with patients and co-workers
- Ability to read and write and follow instructions
- Must have the physical requirements to complete the job duties
- Must be able to work all shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights and Weekends)
