Job Summary
Hospitality Associate focused on guest service in a winery setting. Provide informative, engaging, and personalized tours and tastings; educate guests about the winery story, wines, and brand; actively promote Wine Club memberships and drive revenue through wine, merchandise, tasting, and memberships sales. Represent the winery and brands with professionalism and authenticity, act as a brand ambassador, and participate in special events and team meetings. Maintain clean, organized tasting room spaces, assist with inventory, and support safety guidelines. Continuous learning about wine production, viticulture, and winery history is encouraged, along with delivering an exceptional guest experience and partnering with leadership to resolve issues.
Required Qualifications
- Must have weekend availability
- Must have knowledge of wine and food
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Sales aptitude
- Comfortable speaking in front of crowds
- Able to prioritize, manage time and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced venue
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach throughout an 8-hour shift with occasional pushing, stooping and pulling in indoor and outdoor work environments
- Must possess or have ability to acquire a Wine service and Food Handler’s certifications
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Knowledge of Napa Valley a plus
- Experience with a luxury wine brand a plus
