Job Summary
Monitor and serve all food and drinks to customers, clients, and guests while clearing service areas as required. Ensure clean furniture, dining tables, and chairs are available, maintaining high presentation standards in hospitality rooms, catering storage, and service spaces. Clean and polish cutlery, glasses, and crockery for future events, then set up, prepare, and serve hospitality requirements ranging from coffee meetings to banquet dinners. Work without supervision to take initiative over duties, manage licensed bar service, and use coffee machines. Count and pack away hired linen and equipment after events. Adhere to legislative guidelines including the Food Safety Act and Health and Safety at Work Act. Represent Searcys professionally and promote good teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- To be able to work without supervision
- To be able to use coffee machines
- To be confident in communications and interactions with all guests and clients
- To ensure that all legislative and Government guidelines are adhered to, including (but not exclusively) The Food Safety Act, Health and Safety at Work Act, COSHH regulations, and all Company and Client policies and procedures
- To always represent Searcys in a professional manner through your behaviour, appearance and knowledge
