Job Summary
Hospitality Assistant needed to support the Events Manager and church volunteers with preparation and service of refreshments during Sunday services. Duties include picking up donuts at 7AM and delivering to the church, preparing and refreshing snacks for 9AM and 11AM services, preparing and refreshing coffee and hot beverages, maintaining an organized hospitality area, following safety and sanitary practices, serving during times, escalating parishioner concerns to the Events Manager, delivering strong customer service as a team player, washing pots and platters from morning service, handling laundry of cloths after services, ordering and purchasing refreshments weekly ahead of Sunday services, and periodic deep cleaning of servery equipment. Requires 1+ year of customer service experience, Sunday availability, reliable transportation, strong communication, time management, and flexibility, and professional attire for food service. Also includes adherence to TFCA doctrinal position and commitment to equality in hiring. Compensation is based on experience.
