Job Summary
Assist with meal preparation, serving, and taking orders while following residents' specific diets and food preferences. Set and clear dining tables, ensure proper food handling techniques, and maintain a safe, clean environment for residents. Follow residents' meal plans and preferences to support their daily routines. This role requires a Grade 12 Diploma, a valid Safe Food Handler's Certificate, and a Vulnerable Sector Check. Work part-time evenings (4-7pm) at Sienna Senior Living, a purpose-driven organization committed to serving Canada's seniors with dignity and respect.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 Diploma or recognized equivalent
- Valid Safe Food Handler's Certificate or willingness to obtain
- Committed to providing compassionate support that provides seniors to live their lives to the fullest
- Detailed-oriented coupled with strong customer service skills enabling you to effectively communicate with residents and staff
- Experience in food service from institutional, healthcare, restaurant, or hospitality
- Successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check
