Hospitalist Physician - MedStar Montgomery Medical Center

Provide internal medicine care 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, managing inpatient referrals from primary care physicians and the Emergency Department. Conduct history and physical exams, daily rounding services, and discharge planning while overseeing resident care, teaching, and management rounds for the Internal Medicine Residency program. Efficiently manage a caseload of 10 or more patients daily, responding to referrals in a timely manner to facilitate movement through the hospital continuum. Produce accurate billing records for third-party payors and participate in multidisciplinary quality improvement teams and community outreach efforts.
