Job Summary
Hospitalist physician position in Mobile, AL offering a base of $305 with a bi-annual $25K performance payment, plus a $15K sign-on and $10K moving allowance. Clinical autonomy within a large health system, with an open ICU supported by a pulmonary intensist group as primary caregivers across 13 rural hospitals. NPs perform most admits; 20-22 patients per shift; rapid response and code team available. Cerner EMR used. Open Gulf Coast location with extensive local healthcare footprint; 18 shifts per month (12: rounding by 2pm; 6 shifts: 7a-7p, 3 days + 7p-7a, 3 nights). Mobile offers a favorable cost of living and access to regional markets. Ideal candidate is IM but FM with hospitalist experience is acceptable; visa sponsorship not available.
