Job Summary
Conduct daily rounds and manage patient care at contracted hospitals in Metro/Suburban Tampa, Florida, with an average census of 18-25 per shift. Handle admissions 24/7 while performing no procedures or codes, and remain on-site until 3pm before working remotely until 7pm. Adhere to a day-shift-only schedule using a 7-on/7-off model, selecting either 14 or 18 days per month. Base salary starts at $210K for 182 shifts or $250K for 216 shifts, with additional variable compensation based on years of experience. New graduates and experienced candidates with Internal Medicine or Family Medicine training are eligible.
Required Qualifications
- Internal Medicine or Family Medicine trained
- Must stay on-site until 3pm
- Must be out the door by 5pm
- Must continue to take pages remotely until 7pm
- Must be available for day-shifts only
- Must be available for 14 days per month OR 18 days per month
- Must be available for a 7 on / 7 off model
- Must be available for a true 7/7 (182 shifts per year) or a modified 7/7 with 3 additional days worked per 28 (216 shifts per year)
- Must be available for closed ICUs
- Must be available for no procedures or codes
- Must be available for a hard cap of 25 pts per day for 1st year out of residency
- Must be available for rounding in 1 facility
- Must be available for cross-credentialing
- Must be available for rounding at multiple facilities in Pinellas county
- Must be available for facilities within a 5 mile radius of their home base
