Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including history and physicals, to establish medical diagnoses and develop treatment plans. Write medical orders, prescriptions, and progress notes while monitoring patient status and communicating findings to physicians and families. Perform surgical procedures and assist in emergent events by rendering clinical support and managing emergency equipment. Collaborate with charge nurses, residents, and faculty to coordinate patient flow, facilitate hospital admissions and discharges, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Provide emotional and educational support to patients and families as appropriate. Radiology locations include CT and ultrasound-guided biopsies, thoracentesis, central venous catheter placement, and conscious sedation administration. This role supports the achievement of department goals and maintains a safe office environment adhering to OSHA practices.
Required Qualifications
