Job Summary
Hospitalist opportunity at MercyOne campuses in Waterloo and Cedar Falls. 168 shifts per year with 7am–7pm, 7pm–7am, or 9am–9pm blocks and a predominantly 7-on/7-off schedule. Open ICU with Intensivist coverage. Interest in performing procedures is welcome but not mandatory. Compensation includes a $280K salary guarantee plus a $50K commencement bonus and a $15K moving allowance, with employer-paid malpractice and tail coverage. Comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, life; 403(b) with employer match; 457(b); short-term disability; CME allowance of $6,000/year) and eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness due to non-profit status. Required Qualifications
- MD or DO (U.S. medical license)
- Hospitalist experience preferred
- Board certification or eligibility in hospital medicine or internal medicine
