Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner - PRN

Conduct comprehensive evaluations, history and physical examinations, and problem identification for hospitalized patients. Write prescriptions, interpret laboratory and radiological data, and order appropriate therapeutic interventions while monitoring patient status and response to treatments. Document findings in medical records, recommend interventions, and provide education and counseling to patients and families. Perform credentialed procedures as dictated by patient need and interact directly with nursing staff. Participate in daily team rounding, M&M sessions, departmental conferences, quality assurance, and risk management efforts. Maintain competency in current standards of practice, adhere to HIPAA and TJC regulations, and promote a culture of safety. Requires valid KY Nursing License, BLS, and ACLS certification; at least one year of NP experience preferred.
