Job Summary
Join the Hospital Medicine team at Alice Hyde Medical Center as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, providing high-quality inpatient care with responsibilities including assessing, diagnosing, and managing hospitalized patients in coordination with the Hospitalist physician. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to practice independently in a mixed-acuity inpatient environment, and a commitment to patient-centered care. Candidates must have relevant licensure and experience in Hospital Medicine or acute care, with additional qualifications specified for NPs and PAs.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a master’s, post‐master’s, or doctoral NP program accredited by CCNE or ACEN for Nurse Practitioners.
- Graduation from an ARC‐PA–accredited PA program for Physician Assistants.
- Current national certification (such as ANCC or equivalent for NPs).
- Current NCCPA certification for PAs.
Desired Qualifications
- Active licensure (or eligibility) as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in New York State.
- Experience in Hospital Medicine or acute care.
