Job Summary
Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner needed for locum-tenens coverage in an inpatient hospital setting. Roles include day (10:00 AM–8:00 PM) and night (8:00 PM–6:00 AM) shifts on-site, supporting a high-volume environment with a physician-team structure and no procedures required. Must hold board certification and TN DEA/CDS credentials with prescriptive authority. 93 encounters per day in a busy 505-bed facility with Level I Trauma Center and NICU. TN-based facility and surrounding region; assignments include continuous inpatient coverage with a mix of 10-hour and 12-hour shifts across multiple MD coverage patterns. Two MD day shifts, extended day shifts, and one overnight shift comprise the support structure. This is a locum-tenens assignment with on-site requirements and comprehensive credentialing support.
