Job Summary
Deliver comprehensive medical care for patients ages 5 and older at an inpatient behavioral health center. Complete initial medical evaluations and H&Ps within 24 hours of admission, provide follow-ups, diagnostics, and discharge planning. Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and support staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Educate patients and families on medical conditions, medications, and lifestyle changes. Work a 7 days on/7 days off block schedule with 10-hour shifts. Active Alaska NP/APRN license and AANPCB Board Certification required.
Required Qualifications
- Active Alaska NP/APRN license or ability to obtain
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- AANPCB Board Certification

- Minimum 1 yr inpatient or acute care exp preferred (behavioral health a plus)
- Strong communication, collaboration & patient-first approach
