Job Summary
Hospitalist Nocturnist Per Diem role providing nocturnal inpatient care for adult patients and serving as a clinician-educator within the Internal Medicine Residency Inpatient Service. Per diem schedule offers autonomy while contributing to resident and medical student education, mentorship, and program leadership in education. Expected to collaborate within a network of physicians and support staff, influence inpatient care quality, and support educational activities for residents and learners. Requires 3+ years of post-residency hospitalist experience, Internal Medicine residency training, Board Certification or eligibility, and NJ licensing/DEA/CDS eligibility. Base hourly pay referenced with pay-equity considerations; compensation and benefits package discussed during interview. Locations: Hackensack, NJ (in-person) with Hackensack University Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of post-residency experience as a Hospitalist
- Completion of an Internal Medicine residency at an accredited US program
- Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Must hold or be eligible for a NJ Medical License, DEA, and CDS
