Job Summary
Conduct 24-hour shifts alongside four hospitalist physicians and an experienced midlevel team, primarily in single coverage with some morning double coverage. Manage patients who have been seen, utilizing sleeping quarters if needed, and ensure all patients are discharged early when possible. Handle ventilator management for patients; procedures are not required. This full-time role includes six shifts per month with flexibility to pick up additional coverage. The group serves over 100K residents at a facility offering 24-hour ER, surgical services, ICU, and diagnostic imaging. Located near Portland, OR, the position provides access to mountain scenery and nearby cities like Salem and Corvallis.
Required Qualifications
- Must be comfortable w/Vent Management
- Group will consider either an FP or IM trained physician
