Hospitalist, Hospital Medicine Medical

Manage all unassigned patients and handle any OB/GYN emergencies as an OB Hospitalist. Provide expert care for women during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period by working closely with primary care physicians to ensure a smooth experience. Support the hospital's Baby-Friendly designation, VBAC option, and family-centered C-sections while delivering extensive breastfeeding support and prenatal education. Full-time roles include 5 or more 24-hour shifts per 28-day block, while part-time positions cover 2 to 4 shifts. The team benefits from a Level II nursery staffed by Boston Children's physicians and nurse midwifery programs. Board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYNs with an active MA medical license are required.
