Job Summary
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat admitted patients, managing chronic conditions and addressing acute medical issues. Act as the central point of contact by collaborating with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare providers. Respond to emergency situations and stabilize patients before transfer to larger facilities if necessary. Maintain accurate medical records for assessments, treatments, and billing purposes. Work in shifts including nights and weekends while remaining on-call. Requires current NY state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant with strong clinical decision-making skills.
