Hospitalist APP

Hospitalist APP provides direct inpatient clinical care for patients on inpatient Medicine services under supervision of Hospitalists Physicians, with collaboration from a multidisciplinary team (social work, care management, nursing). Responsibilities include monitoring and evaluating patient condition, ordering/ administering medications within scope, conducting histories and exams, coordinating referrals to specialty services, maintaining accurate documentation, supporting clinical education of healthcare students, and participating in administrative/quality initiatives as needed to support the practice environment. Requires a Master's degree and physician-extender licensure (NP or PA) with BLS and DEA registration; 1-3 years of related clinical experience preferred.
