Job Summary
Night Shift Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider for inpatient adult care at CommonSpirit Memorial Hospital. Schedule is 7 on / 7 off (7am–7pm) with a collaborating physician accessible via telehealth for consultation and clinical support. Responsibilities include diagnosing, treating, prescribing, ordering/ interpreting tests, and managing discharge planning for inpatients. Requires TN NP certification, RN licensure in TN/GA, and BLS; Master’s degree in nursing and 3–5 years of acute care nursing experience; hospital-employed setting with comprehensive benefits and 401k with match.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing
- 3-5 years clinical nursing practice in an acute care setting
- 1-3 years previous experience as a NP in an acute or primary care setting or equivalent RN experience
- Certified Nurse Practitioner in the state of TN
- Licensed as an RN in the state of TN/GA
- American Heart Association BLS (BLS-CPR)
