Job Summary
Night shift Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider sought for CommonSpirit Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. Provide inpatient adult care with no pediatrics/OB/trauma, diagnose and treat, order/interpret tests, and manage discharge planning for inpatients. Schedule is 7 on/7 off (7am–7pm), with collaboration from a physician via telehealth. Work with closed ICUs staffed by Intensivists; focus on comprehensive patient care in a hospital-employed team. Benefits include health/dental/vision, 401k with match, and tail coverage for malpractice. Requires TN-certified NP, TN RN license, BLS, and 3–5 years acute care nursing plus 1–3 years NP experience.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing
- 3-5 years clinical nursing practice in an acute care setting
- 1-3 years previous experience as a NP in an acute or primary care setting or equivalent RN experience
- Certified Nurse Practitioner in the state of TN
- Licensed as an RN in the state of TN/GA
- American Heart Association BLS (BLS-CPR)
