Job Summary
Manage medical management and comprehensive care of patients on Medicine Inpatient Units, attending to consultations and referrals as needed. Provide education and training to residents, medical students, and junior team members while collaborating with facility-wide Departments. Participate in hospital-wide performance and quality improvement projects, patient safety initiatives, and supervise Advanced Practice Providers. Requires an active or eligible NYS License and Board Eligibility or Certification in Internal Medicine. Flexible schedule includes evening and overnight hours coverage.
