Hospital Services Technician

Job Summary
Hospital Services Technician travels between customer healthcare facilities to proactively collect and exchange waste containers for Stericycle programs, including Sharps Management Service, Pharmaceutical Waste, Controlled Substances, and Document Management. Maintains a rigid collection and service schedule, interacts professionally with onsite staff to meet or exceed service expectations, and communicates duty status on a defined schedule. Requires on-site presence, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 55 pounds and push/pull carts up to 500 pounds. Shift is 8:00 am–4:30 pm (day shift), Monday–Friday, with assignments at multiple Covenant Health System facilities; immunization requirements per customer mandates apply. Expected to perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years industry related experience in a customer service capacity preferred, or the equivalent in related work experience
- Valid Driver's License
- High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
Additional Requirements
- On-site presence at WMHS customer locations may require immunization compliance as mandated by customers.
