Job Summary
Hospital Services Technician performs receipt and processing of orders for blood products, transports products and samples to laboratories, delivers supplies to donor centers, and ensures accurate documentation and compliance with SOPs/regulations. Level II adds labeling and irradiation duties and requires knowledge of FDA regulations for component processing, storage, and transportation. Must maintain excellent customer service, data records, and safe handling of blood products; requires ability to lift 40 pounds and push/pull up to 350 pounds; work in laboratory/medical environments with high safety standards. Education: High School Diploma or GED; Experience with material handling and driving preferred; Valid California Driver’s License.
