Hospital Services Technician (26328)

Hospital Services Technician role responsible for receiving and processing orders for blood products, transporting products to the appropriate locations, and handling unprocessed products and sample tubes for manufacturing. Duties include entering orders, completing electronic shipment, packaging and delivering shipments, maintaining accurate documentation, performing vehicle inspections, ensuring proper storage and rotation of blood products, and providing customer service to internal and external customers in a medical/laboratory environment. Level II adds duties such as labeling and irradiation of blood components, with emphasis on compliance with infection control, FDA regulations, SOPs, and quality accuracy across inventory and transportation processes. Requires a High School Diploma or GED and a valid California driver’s license; physical demands include lifting and moving heavy loads; work environment is laboratory/medical with safety requirements.
