Job Summary
Hospital Services Educator collaborates with Hospital Services leadership and Education Department to design, lead, and facilitate education and training for Hospital Services staff. Creates comprehensive orientation and competency-based learning using written, instructor-led, online, and experiential formats with Adult Learning principles; supports cross-departmental training, gap analyses, LMS-based modules, and ongoing professional development to meet regulatory and accrediting standards. May travel by car or air to other regions; role includes developing training calendars, evaluating outcomes, and representing TOSA externally through presentations and case studies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in delivering healthcare education
- Bachelor’s degree in a learning and development field, psychology, healthcare, communications or related field is required
- OPO experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with QPulse and Learning Management System (LMS) preferred
- Functional skills related to teaching, data, technical, analytical, problem solving, organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to function effectively with minimal supervision
- Ability to function effectively in a team environment
- Physical requirements also include the ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
