Job Summary
Hospital Services Educator collaborates with Hospital Services leadership to develop, lead and facilitate education and training for all Hospital Services team members, ensuring comprehensive orientation, cross-departmental training, and competency-based learning with adult learning principles. Develops programs to meet regulatory standards, creates and maintains training modules in the LMS, supports hybrid roles with required clinical training and certification, designs structured orientation and competency requirements, and represents TOSA in external presentations. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of healthcare education experience, proficient in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with LMS/QPulse; travel within the donor services area may be required; some evenings/weekends may be needed. Travel and occasional evenings/weekends are possible; some regional travel within the donor services area.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in delivering healthcare education
- Bachelor’s degree in a learning and development field, psychology, healthcare, communications or related field is required
- OPO experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with QPulse and Learning Management System (LMS) preferred
- Functional skills related to teaching, data, technical, analytical, problem solving, organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to function effectively with minimal supervision
- Ability to function effectively in a team environment
- Physical requirements also include the ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
