Job Summary
Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis, communicate with client office staff, and research or troubleshoot specimen problems. Perform data entry of patient information accurately, scrub requisitions to update missing items, and pack and ship specimens to testing facilities. Execute spinning, freezing, or splitting services as needed based on client requirements. This onsite role supports a fast-paced, high-throughput environment within Labcorp's global network of diagnostic testing and drug development solutions.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED or equivalent
- 1 year or more experience in laboratory or accessioning or production or manufacturing
- Comfortable handling biological specimens
- Ability to accurately identify specimens
- Experience working in a team environment
- Strong data entry and organizational skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Experience with MS Office
- Able to lift up to 40lbs
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
Desired Qualifications
- 1 or more of medical or patient facing healthcare experience
