Job Summary
Provide hands-on leadership, strategic direction, and operations management focusing on partnerships, development, exceptional quality patient care, and fiscal accountability. Allocate and direct staffing needs to meet patient, unit, and department requirements. Lead initiatives to assure operational effectiveness and efficiency, including resource allocation and process improvement. Develop and enhance provider relationships by managing contractual and business relationships with physicians, vendors, and Creighton University. Participate as a member of the Operations Leadership Team and engage with academic leaders to assure a positive academic environment. Partner with the Foundation in the creation and support of a community board.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in healthcare or a related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of direct management experience
- Progressive senior-executive healthcare experience within a complex healthcare organization, including acute-care hospital operations
- Bachelor's degree
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in healthcare administration or business management
- A combination of education (or an equivalent combination of education and/or additional job-related experience)
