Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis while maintaining accurate patient and specimen logs. Enter patient information and process billing information and payments as required. Provide superior customer service to all patients while handling administrative and clerical duties. Travel to additional sites when needed. Work variable days Monday through Friday with weekend and holiday shifts (2 days on/3 days off) from 6:30am to 7pm.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Reliable transportation
- Clean driving record if applicable
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Ability to work Monday-Friday, weekends and holidays shifts (2 days on/3 days off) 6:30am-7pm
- Ability to travel to additional sites when needed
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
