Job Summary
Evaluate, select, procure, and distribute drugs while counseling patients and interpreting physician medication orders. Compound and dispense prescribed medications using automated dispensing machines, laminar flow hoods, and compounding equipment. Ensure compliance with all state, federal regulations, hospital policies, and ethical business practices. Maintain customer confidentiality and represent the hospital and PharmD on Demand professionally. Interact effectively with diverse individuals and exercise sound judgment in decision-making. Requires current pharmacist licensure in the applicable state(s). Weekend rotation, holiday coverage, and as-needed basis.
