Job Summary
Hospital Pharmacist per diem responsible for overseeing all aspects of Pharmacy operations, ensuring accurate dispensing and validation of orders (STAT within 15 minutes; non-urgent within 1 hour), participating in the Pharmacy Improvement Process, contributing to cost-saving initiatives, supervising technicians, maintaining secure controlled substances inventory, ensuring aseptic IV admixtures, training staff under the Pharmacy Manager, monitoring inventory and investigational drugs, evaluating drug therapy and interactions, completing ADR and Medication Occurrence reports, and providing evidence-based drug information and patient education; active participation in at least one committee and adherence to state/federal pharmacy statutes.
