Job Summary
Greet incoming vehicles with a professional demeanor, determine visit purposes through courteous questioning, and verify patient or visitor status using appointment slips or passes. Direct employees and unauthorized vehicles to appropriate parking locations while maintaining knowledge of hospital policies and alternate areas. Document policy violations or recurring issues for supervisor review and coordinate with security and parking management when needed. Provide directions and basic hospital information to visitors, assist with traffic flow to minimize congestion, and operate essential garage equipment including pay-on-foot machines and barriers. Maintain uniform standards while engaging in bending, prolonged standing, and running in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in English, both verbally and written
- High school diploma/GED
- Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English
- Effectively maneuvering around various locations inside and outside while engaging in bending, prolonged standing, running, and prolonged sitting in all weather conditions
- Ability to receive medical and security clearance for one or more locations
- Possess the manual dexterity to operate essential garage equipment, including pay-on-foot machines and garage barriers
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and push a minimum of 200 pounds
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be able and willing to smile during every customer interaction
- Maintain uniform standards while around the account
- Ability to create relationships with customers
