Job Summary
Conduct nursing assessments, assist with exams and treatments, and provide direct patient care to diverse populations with varied and complex needs. Administer medications, perform procedures, and manage emergencies while acting as a patient and family advocate to monitor and maintain rights. Collaborate with the interprofessional health care team to coordinate care and achieve desired treatment outcomes. Participate in unit and shared governance initiatives, serve as a preceptor to students or new employees, and contribute to specialty line or hospital-wide initiatives. Maintain medical records and demonstrate competence in using technology.
