Job Summary
Physician will join a transplant hepatology team to contribute to an expanding liver disease and transplantation program, collaborating with two hepatologists, hepatology APPs, transplant surgeons, and faculty. Responsibilities include inpatient hepatology consultation service, education of medical students and fellows, involvement in GI fellowship program administration, and participation in clinical research supported by institutional resources. The role offers full advanced endoscopy support, multidisciplinary endoscopy and inpatient services, competitive salary with relocation allowance for applicable physicians, CME benefits, and malpractice coverage. Requires ABMS-certified or eligible transplant hepatology fellowship-trained gastroenterologist with Arizona licensure and hospital privileges, alignment with CommonSpirit Health values, and willingness to engage in program development and education.
Required Qualifications
- Completed ACGME Residency training with ABMS Board Certification in Gastroenterology
- Completed ACGME Fellowship training with ABMS Board Certification in Hepatology (or eligible)
- Arizona State Medical Licensure or eligibility
- Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
