Hospital Medicine Physician in East Norriton, PA leading inpatient care with a collaborative, data-driven approach. Join a 16-physician team under Jefferson Einstein Montgomery focused on leadership, autonomy, accountability, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include inpatient rounds, admissions, discharges, multidisciplinary rounds, teaching residents and medical students, coordinating complex care plans, and participating in hospital committees. Schedule options may include full-time, part-time, or PRN; work with a closed ICU team and intensivists, with BLS/ACLS certification and participation in rapid response and code teams. Required Qualifications
- Board-certified internal medicine or family medicine physician
- Academic experience required
- Demonstrated excellence in inpatient teaching and clinical supervision, including bedside instruction and resident guidance, with prior academic or structured teaching experience highly valued
- Proven ability to lead high-quality, efficient hospital care by driving early disposition planning, exercising sound clinical judgment around inpatient vs. outpatient needs, and partnering effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize throughput
- Skilled in coordinating complex care plans and integrating consultant input while maintaining ownership of the overall care plan; experience managing patients with substance use disorders and collaborating with social work and community resources is a strong plus
