Job Summary
Hospital Medicine Physician at St. Elizabeth Community Hospital in Red Bluff, CA. Join a close-knit team of 6 physicians and 3 APPs with day and night coverage, open ICU with 24/7 telemedicine critical care, and Cerner EMR. Responsibilities include managing an average census of 10-12 per physician with 1-3 admissions per day and 2-6 admissions per night; pediatric coverage for newborns with potential transfers from the ER; participation in hospital committees and collaboration with regional specialists. Flexible scheduling with a 7-days-on, 7-days-off block; opportunities for leadership and interdisciplinary collaboration, strong emphasis on autonomy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certified/eligible in internal, family medicine, or med/peds
