Job Summary
Pediatric Hospital Medicine physician providing inpatient care for hospitalized children, including newborn care and delivery attendance, collaborating with the ED and a multidisciplinary care team to ensure high-quality, family-centered pediatric hospital medicine. Respirations include Epic/MyChart usage, flexible part-time scheduling (0.60 FTE) with a mix of day and night shifts, and support staff including nurses, case management, social work, and APPs. Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics required; Michigan medical license active or ability to obtain. Training provided for candidates not certified. Emphasis on direct patient care, documentation in Epic EMR, and participation in quality improvement initiatives.
