Job Summary
The Hospital Liaison will manage intake inquiries from Case Managers, capture all pertinent order information to meet coverage criteria, assist with in-hospital set-ups for home-going oxygen and related modalities, and serve as a communication bridge between MSC, patients, and referral sources within designated facilities. The role involves answering questions from Case Managers and facilities, maintaining open communication with patients and referral sources, and promoting MSC services to referral partners while documenting interactions. Strong emphasis is placed on professional communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to drive as required. Requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of medical customer service experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, walk/stand/bend/perform setup tasks, and follow safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited high school or GED equivalent.
- One year (minimum) of progressively responsible medical customer service experience.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and perform setup tasks throughout the workday.
- Must be able to safely operate equipment and follow all safety protocols.
