Job Summary
Staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Functions within organizational policies and coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff to deliver quality nursing care. Requires RN licensure in Georgia with BCLS; ACLS and additional certifications required for various units (ICU, dialysis, ED, oncology, pediatrics, maternal/newborn, etc.) with specific timelines. BSN degree preferred; no experience required (new graduates eligible) with PRN (per diem) shift opportunities at Piedmont Rockdale Hospital in Conyers, GA.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse license in Georgia (state licensure or NLC/eNLC multistate licensure)
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS certification (within required timeframe for specialty units as indicated)
- PALS/PEARS/NRP requirements per unit addendum as applicable
- Piedmont Rockdale Hospital Nurse Residents/onsite orientation and certification within stated timelines
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- BSN preferred
- Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred
