Job Summary
Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, trim, and metalwork while sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and washing walls, ceilings, windows, and door panels. Empties wastebaskets and transports trash to disposal areas, replenishes bathroom supplies, and moves small equipment between departments. Works second shift (3:00pm–11:30pm) with every other weekend/holiday rotation at UMH Sparrow in Lansing, MI. Requires full COVID-19 vaccination, high school diploma, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Post-offer medical, background screening, and drug test required.
Required Qualifications
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent
- Must be available for 2nd Shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm)
- Must be available for every other weekend/holiday
- Must be able to lift, carry, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must have close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses
- Must pass Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test

- Experience in the janitorial industry
